OWTHORPE ROAD AREA, COTGRAVE – PROPOSED PARKING RESTRICTIONS (TRO 8342)
PUBLIC ADVERT
Via East Midlands Ltd, is working on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council to deliver highway
services in Nottinghamshire. Concerns have been raised about obstructive parking at the junctions
of Owthorpe Road, Greenfields Drive, Fern Lea Avenue, Hawthorne Avenue and Daleside. This
reduces visibility and access for drivers and pedestrians using these junctions.
To help alleviate these problems it is proposed to introduce ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restrictions
(Double Yellow Lines) around these junctions and ‘No Waiting Mon – Fri 8am – 4:30pm’ restriction
(Single Yellow Line) on Daleside, as shown on drawing number H/WA/4108/01. Before proceeding
further, I wish to consider the views of residents, businesses and organisations who may be
interested in this matter.
Any observations on these proposals should reach me in writing, either by letter or email, by 10th
March 2022. If your comments are in the form of an objection to the proposals please clearly state
this and the reasons for your objection. If the objection cannot be resolved, it will be reported through
the County Council’s procedures at the appropriate time.
