Rushcliffe Borough Council – Potential Councillor Information Events

Rushcliffe Borough Council, who oversee Parish and Town Council elections every four years, are appealing for more members of communities across the Borough to stand and represent their fellow residents and stakeholders in their local area.

There are 351 seats to fill across Rushcliffe’s towns and villages, some of which have been uncontested in recent elections.

The Council is keen that any individual, who has a desire to represent their local area, is aware of the east of the process to stand as a candidate.

To stand as a councillor is straight forward and take no longer than an hour to complete all the relevant paperwork.

Cluster sessions will also take place at locations in the Borough for prospective candidates to ask questions and find out more information from the Council’s Elections team on the following dates:

Tuesday January 22nd, Cropwell Butler Village Hall, 7pm
