Rushcliffe Borough Council are supporting residents in obtaining photo ID and the necessary documentation to vote in person at this year’s local elections through a series of drop in events over the coming weeks.

Whilst most people have photo ID of some sort, there are those who do not.

You can go online at to get a free voter ID document known as a Voter Authority Certificate.


Attend the in-person session to have a photo taken and the Voter Authority Certificate completed with one of the Council’s friendly Customer Service team at:

Cotgrave Leisure Centre, Woodview, Cotgrave, Wednesday 29th March, 3pm – 7pm.
