Why we’re doing this work?
The existing foul water sewer located in the verge in Owthorpe Road between Saxon Way and
Gripp Common is damaged resulting in flooding to a property.
What’s next?
We plan to begin work to repair the sewer by first clearing vegetation in the verge before
excavating down to the sewer.
We have appointed our contract partner Forkers Ltd to do the work and they will commence on
Wednesday 8 March 2023 for a duration of up to 4 weeks depending on the extent of the repair
required.
While the sewer is located within the verge temporary traffic management will be in use during
working hours.
