You are summoned to attend the Town Council meeting being held on Monday 15th July 2024

at 7pm, which will be held in Cotgrave Futures Meeting Room, to transact the business specified below.

Members of the press and public are welcome to observe proceedings.  Time is allowed for brief public participation. (Please forward details of any issues to the Town Clerk prior to the meeting.)

1.         To receive apologies for absence.
2.         Declarations of Interest.
3.         Public Open Session.
4.         To confirm the accuracy of the minutes of the Council Meeting held on 17th June 2024 and to note the
minutes of the Personnel Committee Meeting dated 4th July 2024.
5.         To consider progress with the decisions taken.
6.         To confirm the Planning Minutes – to note
7.         Planning Applications
8.         Financial Matters – to consider a) payments made, b) income received (since the last meeting), c) Financial
Statements for June 2024.
9.         Grants – a) Cotgrave Library, b) Friends of Cotgrave Church of England School PTA
10.        Working Groups  –  a) Summer Market – to  give an update, b) Christmas Tree/Pensioners Meal
11.        Ringleas Play Area – Wheel Spin repair – to consider quotation for works.
12.        ICT Equipment – to consider a quotation for a replacement laptop for the Town Clerk.
13.        Cotgrave Futures – a) to receive a report from the Trustees, b) to consider the installation of
kneeling rails at the side of the car park, c) to consider additional cameras for the Community Garden and
purchase of Pyracantha.
14.        Nottinghamshire Association of Local Councils AGM – to appointment representatives/ to attend the AGM
(with one having voting rights).
15.        Proposed junction changes at The Cross/Plumtree Road – to receive a report on the proposed changes to
the road layout.
16.        Watering of Flower Baskets – to approve additional hours to cover the watering of the flower baskets.
17.        NALC & SLCC Campaign – the safety of electric-powered micro mobility vehicles and Lithium Batteries Bill
18.        Dr Macdonald’s Bench – to decide an amount to cover refreshments / flower bed display.
